We partnered with small business Carbon Conversions to engineer an entirely new process using reclaimed carbon fiber in the lid for 18% total recycled content and 24g lighter* of a laptop. It has a long life cycle battery for less replacements. Ocean-bound plastic (25%) and recycled HDPE plastic (75%) are used in the commemorative 25-year anniversary packaging trays, and a majority of units are shipped by sea. With The Conservation fund, Dell has protected a portion of the Garcia River Forest in perpetuity to offset the carbon footprint equivalent to 3.2 million miles driven.*
